Crittall Style is a window and door style that is recognisable for its thin black metal frame with horizontal and vertical bars; this allows for large areas of glass to be used in the windows/doors without obstructing any views.
The frames are made of hot-rolled steel and are welded together at the corners to create a strong and durable structure.
Crittall Style windows and doors are often associated with industrial and modernist architecture. The steel-framed windows and doors are seen as a way to bring a touch of industrial chic to both traditional and modern interiors. It is popular in both commercial and domestic properties, with many opting for this style due to its sleek and distinctive look.
What our customers say...
Highly recommend this company - Chris and Gary have been absolutely fantastic.
The boys have made us some fantastic looking galvanised and powder coated steel posts as structural supports for our glass pergola - the quality of their workmanship and professionalism have been brilliant and the posts look fantastic.
Everything down to the little finishing touches has been fab. They came in to replace some bodged work that a previous builder had done which was condemned by a surveyor. Azzweld have been professional, trustworthy, clean and tidy. They are polite and have a great work ethic and clearly know their stuff ! Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Thanks both - so glad you came to us via a recommendation!

Very impressed with the services of Azzweld to understand the requirements of the project coupled with a very prompt service to remedy my fabrication requirements.
Top job from an easy to deal with organisation. I have no problem recommending this organisation and would be quite happy to use them again for any of my projects. Lovely job!
